Arizona Then & Now

Photographer Allen Dutton published a book in 2002 called 'Arizona Then & Now', where he compiled historic photographs from around the state, all the way back into the 1800's, and then went through painstaking detail to capture an image from the same sight today.












PBS.org is currently hosting a page with many of these pictures – it's worth your time to click through and take a look. The original, black & white pictures from yesteryear are shown. Hover your mouse over the photos and watch them change into today's world.
