Sunrise Mountain Pool scores a hit with one Fletcher Heights area family.

I will admit it, we are generally not a public pool-using family. We used to have our own swimming pool in our backyard when we lived in Parkridge; now we live in Silverton II in a house without a pool. We've been going to different friends' and families' houses and swimming whenever we can, however, this weekend it was about 142 degrees outside and we didn't have any plans, so we decided to go [tag]Sunrise Mountain Pool[/tag]. What a great idea – this pool is terrific!

They have a walk-in, beach-style entry way to the little kids' play area with plenty of waterfalls and fountains to keep the little ones entertained. There is also a water slide, a couple of diving boards, a basketball hoop, and lots of open water for swimming. The atmosphere was fun and the people were friendly. Oh yeah, and did I mention it's only $1 per person? I highly recommend it to any families without a pool – it's something you've got to try this summer.
