Going Solar for your Hot Water Heater

It's easier than ever to go Solar, thanks to SRP's Solar Hot Water Heater program! When you're in the market for your next water heater, you can rack up some good karma for about the same price as a conventional water heater. You get karma points and save on taxes in one swoop!
Here's how it works:

Typical cost for a Solar Water Heater is $4000. However, look at these incentives and rebates:
SRP Earthwise payment will reimburse $1150 of your cost, your Arizona tax credit is $1000, your Federal tax credit is $1200, leaving the net cost at a mere $650. With an annual savings of $184 on your energy bills, your new solar water heater will pay for itself in a little over 3 years.

Now wouldn't you rather save yourself some taxes and do something positive for the environment at the same time - what could be better?
